Molton Brown

For our client Chalhoub, we have built websites for Molton Brown and Penhaligons, serving the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. These sites were designed to tie-in with global brand identities, whilst also adapting to the Arabic RTL (Right-to-left) writing system.

Premium toiletries brand eCommerce website

Our initial brief was to mimic the Brand’s UK online stores whilst providing a digital hub that gathered orders from any online source, allowing for order processing to be handled by the correct local warehouse.

We were also commissioned to build two standard WooCommerce multi-site systems. The aim being to allow for cost-effective deployment to new territories that needed to begin trading quickly.

The Challenge

We were asked to gather orders from each online store, distribute them to the correct warehouse and allow for flexible order management. To achieve this we created a central Hub using Symphony.

The Hub allows warehouse staff to select orders for picking, packing and marking as ready for dispatch, which then automatically calls the correct courier service. The Hub also enables warehouse staff to carry out stock takes and update stock levels in real time.

 

WOOCOMERCE MULTISITE IN ENGLISH AND ARABIC

The websites that we created using WooCommerce have enabled the client to test the market for Molton Brown (and Penhaligons) in several countries in a cost-effective manner.

With enhanced secure hosting, the system has performed very well during intensive selling periods, including White Friday and the Winter Holidays.
